Rachel Higham
Rachel Higham is a registered Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Teacher.
Rachel has taught at various schools across Melbourne, and also attained international experience, having spent a year and a half teaching across London and Surrey, in the UK.
Rachel mentors RAD CBTS students, and Trainee teachers, whilst also attending as many teachers workshops and courses as she can for professional development. For the past 8 years she has been involved in the RAD Victorian/Tasmanian Panel, having served as Vice Chair, among other positions.
Rachel’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts, majoring in dance, RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Study, and Progressing Ballet Technique Certification.
Rachel knows that no single approach is right one for every individual and she loves to continue to learn new ways to approach things and always strives to get the best from her students, in a safe and happy environment. Rachel has a passion for teaching technique, artistry and musicality from a young age. She also really enjoys working with new teachers and mentoring within TDLD and for the RAD CBTS Students.
