Kate started her dance training with TDLD in 2003. Since then she has pursued her love of dance and has studied ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, song & dance, hip hop, and VCE Dance. Kate was an assistant teacher from 2010-2017 and became a teacher in 2018. She has developed a passion for teaching younger students to give them the confidence to perform and dance in a friendly and nurturing environment.
Kate is an accomplished tap dancer who has successfully competed in numerous eisteddfods around Melbourne. She was a member of TDLD’s performance and competition troupe, La DanSe Company, and was part of the TDLD team that represented Victoria at the International Dance Excellence Festival in Los Angeles. Her performance credits include Disneyland, Performing Arts Centre Long Beach California, International Dance Excellence Festival Company member, Bayside Carols, and Australian Tap Dance Festival shows.
Kate has studied the RAD ballet syllabus including Grades 1-8, Advanced Foundation, and Repertoire Level 3. She is currently completing the RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies.
