Developed for children aged 2 ½ to 5, this syllabus teaches the magic of mime and dance through creativity. Loosely based on classical ballet it incorporates improvisation, mime, creativity, and coordination.  There are 3 levels:

• Pre-Kinder; for students age 2.5 – 3.5 who are not yet at Kinder
• 3 year old Kinder; for students in 3 year old Kinder
• 4 year old Kinder; for students in 4 year old Kinder

What to expect in your Tiny Ballet class?

• learn to jump, hop, skip, spin, balance, leap, gallop
• work on coordination of arms and legs
• learn the basics of ballet – positions of the feet and arms, and names of movements/steps
• learn first position, second position, classical walks, pliés, tendus, arabesque, etc
• learn dance through imaginative play (exercises with mermaids, princesses, fairies, etc)
• gentle introduction to rhythm and movement quality
• learn to take turns, form a line, make a circle, follow the leader, and more!
