Kate started her dance training with TDLD in 2003;  in 2018 she is thrilled to be teaching Tiny Tots and Bopping Tots.  Over the past 15 years she has pursued her love of dance and has studied ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, song & dance, hip hop and VCE Dance.   Kate has been an assistant teacher since 2010 and has developed a passion for teaching younger students to give them the confidence to perform and dance in a friendly and nurturing environment.

Kate is an accomplished tap dancer who has successfully competed in numerous eisteddfods around Melbourne.  She has been a member of  TDLD’s performance and competition troupe, La DanSe Company,  since 2012, and has been  part of the TDLD team that has represented Victoria at the International Dance Excellence Festival in Los Angeles from 2011.  Her performance credits include Disneyland, Performing Arts Centre  Long Beach California,  International Dance Excellence Festival Company member,  Bayside Carols, Australian Tap Dance Festival shows, and, at secondary school was a performer in school musicals and house dance leader.  In 2018 Kate is undertaking a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching part time, whilst also studying Engineering at Monash University.
